The Mighty Mighty Bash

#66 — London Rockin’ Rollers

How long have you been playing?

2 and a half years

How did you get into Roller Derby?

My mum was starting this new amazing sport and when she told me how it worked I couldn’t wait to join her. She has made it into the training squad for Team New Zealand so we may end up going head to head in December!

What’s your greatest Derby achievement to date?

Definitely making Team England. I said last year to some friends that Team England was going to be my goal for this year and I still can’t believe it.

How did you feel when you found out you made it on to Team England?

Stoked! I was so excited and so nervous. When I heard Jack got in I was scared to open my email. Then I opened it, checked it, checked it again and rang my mum. I had little random squeals of excitement burst out all day long.

Derby Ambition?

Firstly to do an awesome job at Roller Derby World Cup, play well with my team and make sure I’ve put in enough effort to keep up with the awesome skaters I will be playing with and against.

Secondly I would love to be skilled enough and known for being an awesome roller derby player. You know the person or player that everyone talks about? I wanna be that person. Haha
