Years playing derby?
I started skating about 3 and a half years ago — I literally couldn’t stand up on skates back then! Previously I had done lots of dancing which I like to demo every once in a while…
What’s your greatest derby achievement to date?
Making Team England! Apart from that I have lots of good memories with Auld Reekie Roller Girls. I skated with ARRG from their humble beginnings up until their recent acceptance to WFTDA. Looking forward to sharing some good times with LRG in the near future too.
How did you feel when you found out you made it on to Team England?
I am a Northerner so I definitely didn’t cry! I did ring my family up straight away though.
Goals for the World Cup?
Do my country proud — help Team England score some points! It is great to be on a team with people I have admired for a long time — I just can’t wait to get on track with everyone.
