Years playing derby?
I’ve been skating with the LRR since 2007 when it was founded.
Greatest derby achievement?
Making team England is a pretty awesome achievement. I never thought I would make it this far. The hard work starts now though right?
Derby ambition?
Well making TE was one of them, whats next? Just to keep pushing myself and my team mates to the best of our abilities.
How did you feel when you made it onto Team England?
Ecstatic, shocked, surprised, happy. But disappointed for the girls that didn’t make it. We were told we’d know at approx 10.30 am the next morning so I kept checking the time and pressing the refresh button until the email came through, then read it about 5 times before it sank in.
Injuries
Nothing major for me (touch wood). Broken finger, black eye, lots and lots of bruises. Hurt pride.
Goals for the World Cup
Same as my derby ambition, just to push myself to my limit and a little bit beyond. Trust and work with my team mates to play the best game I can.
